Your pooch may need to stay at The Dog Clinic Taroona’s hospital branch for a day stay for a variety of reasons, from routine procedures, emergency surgeries, or supportive care while they are unwell.
Our aim is to provide a calm and restful hospital environment with the use of Adaptil’s soothing pheromones. Adaptil is a synthetic version of the hormone whelping mothers release to keep their litters calm. Both our Sandy Bay and Taroona clinics use room diffusers in reception and the consultation rooms.
Before our patients arrive in the morning, our surgical and hospital nurses prepare the hospital cages by spraying Adaptil on the bedding and allowing it to settle.
